The United Church of Canada turns 100 this year! There will be many things happening over the next few months so check back regularly. The theme of the 100th anniversary is "Deep, Bold, Daring." Check out the United Church's website to find out more.

What's your favourite hymn?
One of the things we're doing to celebrate is asking everyone what their favourite hymm is and why. Pastor Troy will put together the quick, 30 second videos of everyone telling us what hymns they like. If you want to participate, please contact Pastor Troy. If you don't want to be on video but still want to tell us what your favourite hymn is, please send us a message.
Collections
As we begin to celebrate the United Church of Canada's 100th birthday the congregation of Bayham United Church in Straffordville will be collecting 100 items each month, from February to May, to share with the food banks of Aylmer and Tillsonburg along with the Sharing Pantry in Straffordville as part of our outreach to local missions. In June we will be collecting funds in support of the United Church's Mission & Service fund.

Crackers and Cookies, yum! The collection for May is for any kinds of crackers and cookies. Again, we're aiming for 100 portions, and we're confident we can do it!
April
Tinned vegetables and fruit please. All kinds.
And the final total is: 224 cans of vegetables!
March
Our March challenge is 100 items for school lunch snacks. Things like single serve fruit, apple sauce, puddings juice boxes, granola bars.
Result: so, so many snacks!
February
We're almost there! Our challenge for February will be for 100 boxes of Kraft Dinner! Drop the boxes off at the church any Sunday.
And we did it. Well over 100 boxes!
